About the GDA Diet book
Knowing the danger signs
Lapsing, ‘having a bad day’, ‘losing your focus’, ‘falling off the wagon’ or whatever else you want to call it is a perfectly normal part of the change process. It is human nature to forget to have your morning snack occasionally, or to end up choosing something unhelpful at lunchtime. It happens because you got too hungry to make a sensible choice, not because you have no willpower. Likewise, being invited for dinner and eating a meal that doesn’t quite fit in with GDA principles is being polite, not weak willed. The GDA diet helps you to manage lapsing without it feeling like and international disaster. |
